When his best friend in high school suffered a fatal brain injury in a football game, Antonio Romanucci was deeply saddened. He eventually turned his grief and frustration into action, and vowed to spend his life helping victims of traumatic injuries. That decision led to a career as a personal injury attorney and ultimately, a name partner in Romanucci & Blandin, LLC.

Today, the law firm he helped establish with attorney Stephan Blandin represents clients who have suffered traumatic personal injuries as well as families who are victims of wrongful death. Antonio and Stephan's passion and conviction in the courtroom have resulted in nearly 40 verdicts or settlements of $1 million or greater. The largest verdict to date: $22.3 million in a medical malpractice case in November 2009.

For his successes representing injury victims, Antonio was named for the fifth time in six years as one of the top Super Lawyers(R) in Illinois for the year 2010.

Antonio has also dedicated his personal life to helping others, most notably as the founding chairman of the Midwest Brain Injury Clubhouse. He is currently leading their campaign to raise funds to help returning war veterans with traumatic brain injuries. He also serves as Vice Chair of the Motor Vehicles and Premises Litigation Group for the American Association for Justice, a national organization that strives to ensure that every person can obtain justice and hold wrongdoers accountable for medical negligence.
