Attorneys to Establish Pro Bono Volunteer Legal Clinic at Rainbow PUSH
An ad hoc committee of four attorneys, working with Chicago Volunteer Legal Services (CVLS), is establishing a pro bono volunteer legal clinic at Rainbow PUSH, 930 E. 50th Street, Chicago, to provide pro bono legal representation on civil cases for the poor and working poor who come to Rainbow PUSH for legal assistance.
Attorneys wishing to volunteer on matters related to divorce, child support and visitation, guardianship, adoption, special education, consumer fraud, landlord-tenant, bankruptcy and tort defense, should attend a breakfast meeting with Rev. Jesse Jackson on Wednesday, November 4, at 8:30 a.m. at the Chicago Bar Association, 321 S. Plymouth Court. RSVP to Angela Pederson at (312) 962-3518 or at apederson@proskauer.com.
